The Center's purpose has been to promote ideas for implementing global business ethics, specifically the Russian Compliance Alliance, an online tool for implementing global legal requirements; and Stakeholder Trust, an idea for operationalizing business ethics in organizational cultures.  In addition to our publications, this promotion has been done primarily through conferences, seminars, with generous hosting from universities, business associations, and PwC and Ernst and Young.

The active participation of Center Director Professor Philip Nichols and several of his colleagues, representing The Wharton School's Department of Legal Studies and Business Ethics, was an important incentive for many of these organizational relationships.

The Center hosted an international conference in 2014, co-hosted by St. Petersburg State University of Economics (now UNECON, formerly FINEC), in cooperation with The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania Department of Law and Business Ethics.  This conference was funded by the Eurasia Foundation.  A program is here.  Participant CVs and abstracts are here.

Director Viacheslav Shironin has played a key role in developing an important relationship with UNECON, where we have organized conferences annually since 2011.
